TPM offers professional, complete Level 2 EV charging installations for home or on your business premises. By utilizing a distribution panel, our Level 2 EV charging solutions can charge much faster than a standard outlet. EV charging is affordable and can be combined with a solar energy installation from Green Power Energy.
Charging points with plugs
Charging the car at home requires 3.3 kW, resulting in a charging time of 7 to 8 hours. This fits well with overnight charging (off-peak tariff).
Public charging stations often provide three-phase power and can then charge at 11 kW, 22 kW, or sometimes even 44 kW. Charging at a public charging point takes about two hours, while at a fast charging station, it takes about half an hour.
Locations for electric vehicle charging points
The most common locations for electric vehicle charging points are at home and at the workplace. For public charging points, these include parking lots along highways, in parking garages, and at shops.
Additionally, there are semi-public charging points for visitors at businesses, hospitals, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums, conference centers, amusement parks, golf courses, holiday parks, and banks.
What does an electric vehicle charging system consist of
A charging system consists of an electrical connection with a plug to connect to the electric vehicle. Public charging points operate with a charging card that allows you to start, stop, and pay for charging via contactless payment.

This home charger is user-friendly and equipped with a flexible charging cable (up to 11 kW) or a smooth cable (up to 22 kW) with plug type 1 or 2 that can be directly connected to your electric car. Made of 2 mm steel. The Homebox can be wall-mounted or attached to a steel pole (optional).
